The Health Policy Partnership (HPP) has developed a set of key performance indicators that can be used by countries looking to improve readiness for radioligand therapy.

How to measure health system readiness for radioligand therapy: key performance indicators takes a systems-based approach, expanding on the World Health Organization’s Health System Building Blocks and our inaugural Radioligand Therapy Readiness Assessment Framework. The key performance indicators (KPIs) add to these tools by providing concrete targets that countries can work towards to ensure they are ready for current and future demand.

Health systems need to prepare for the adoption of innovative precision medicines such as radioligand therapy; otherwise, existing gaps and inequities in access to care may worsen. Ultimately, the effective delivery of radioligand therapy requires collaboration and coordination across multiple sectors and medical disciplines. Our aim is for the KPIs to help healthcare professionals, policymakers and advocates come together around common goals, which they can strive towards to ensure readiness.

Explore the KPIs and learn more about setting targets to ensure health system readiness for radioligand therapy.
